Given today’s public announcement from the DappRadar UAB team, we want to provide clarity on what this means from the DAO side and share what we know at this moment.
The DappRadar DAO operates under a separate legal structure from DappRadar UAB, with its own foundation entity, treasury, and native IP as approved by the community in DCP-19. The DAO has an access agreement in place which permits the usage of the DappRadar IP, brand, and platform, and this agreement is linked directly to DappRadar UAB as the licensor.
Since DappRadar UAB is beginning the wind-down of its platform and associated operations, it is still unclear how the DappRadar brand, platform, and related IP assets will be handled after the wind-down process concludes. Until we have clarity from the platform entity on the future ownership and use of these assets, we cannot make binding statements about how this will impact the DAO.
Over the coming weeks, discussions will continue between relevant stakeholders, and we expect more clarity as the process evolves. Once concrete information is available, we will return here with updates, next steps, and discussion points that may require community input or voting.
This is a moment that requires calm, patience, and collective thinking.
