To the DappRadar DAO Community,
Following the shutdown of the DappRadar platform announced in November 2025, we have been actively exploring every possible path forward for the DAO, the RADAR token, and this community. After months of discussions with multiple potential buyers and stakeholders, we are now in a position to share an update.
A way forward has been found for the DappRadar brand, name, domain, and associated platform assets under new ownership. However, the DappRadar DAO and the RADAR token are not part of this transition. The new ownership has no involvement with, and no obligations toward, the DAO or the token.
As the community will recall, DCP-19 (“Activating DappRadar Foundation”), formalized the relationship between the DappRadar DAO and DappRadar UAB through three core agreements:
-
the Software Development Agreement
-
the Access Agreement (License and Platform Privileges), and
-
the Loan Agreement.
Together, these agreements formed the entire operational and legal foundation on which the DAO existed: its access to the platform, its use of the DappRadar brand, the platform integration of RADAR and DAO features, and the framework for all token utility. For full details, refer to the original proposal.
With the transfer of platform assets to new ownership, all of these agreements are being terminated. This means:
-
The DAO will no longer have access to the DappRadar platform, brand, or name.
-
There will be no ongoing services, maintenance, or development related to the DAO or the RADAR token.
-
There is no relationship whatsoever between the DAO and the DappRadar platform going forward.
The DappRadar DAO was built in full symbiosis with the main platform: its utility, its access rights, and its purpose were all tied to that relationship. With the termination of these agreements and the transfer of platform assets to new ownership, there is no viable path forward for the DAO to continue operating in any meaningful capacity.
For these reasons, the DappRadar DAO is entering a formal wind-down. No further maintenance, development, or community services will be provided. This decision is final.
We want to be transparent: we explored every alternative. Running a platform and ecosystem of this scale and complexity is far more demanding than it appears from the outside, and finding alignment across all parties proved to be an enormous challenge. Ultimately, there was no scenario in which the DAO could continue independently.
To everyone who has been part of this community: thank you. Your trust, your engagement, and your belief in what we were building meant everything. We are grateful for the journey we shared.
This message serves as the definitive communication regarding the status of the DappRadar DAO and RADAR token. Any future inquiries should be directed to this announcement as the final position.
