DappRadar DAO Newsletter - March 2025

With the world preparing for a potential World War 3, it’s safe to say that the future is far from certain. Crypto may gain regulatory approvals and more use cases, but like any other industry it will be impacted by the implications of the military conflict between Russia and Ukraine on the one hand, and the shenanigans of Trump on the other. Even if World War 3 would be avoided, we’re likely to still see a trade war happening between the United States and the rest of the world. Will this increase demand for decentralized financial services?

Media Mentions

After the success of the yearly reports, the number of media mentions for DappRadar dropped in February. A total of 439 articles were published by media and bloggers. That’s a 40% drop. Reports once again play a big role here, while some media also use DappRadar to refer to dapp data. The reach of our media mentions dropped 30%, reaching a total of 75.5 million people.

In February we published the following 3 reports:

These reports contribute to our media mentions, and often generate headlines. These reports get read by a couple of thousand people, and reach millions through the media and influencers on X sharing data.

It’s also important to note that we publish our reports in various formats. Of course there’s the report on our website itself, but we also redistribute it in different formats on X and YouTube. This allows bots and AI to get access to dapp data in various ways.

Product development

The biggest product update from the past month was the introduction of Narrative Pages. These themed pages allow users to get full insights into trending topics. We started this with gaming, DeFi and AI, but more narrative pages will launch in the near future. In the future this will allow us to give users insights into niche narratives, such as AI games, lending protocols, or perhaps token launchpads.

Marketing

As mentioned last month, we’re also working to integrate AI deeper into the DappRadar platform. We’ve been using machine learning for a couple of years, for example to determine an estimated price of an NFT, or to filter spam transactions from our metrics. But now we’re taking it to the next level, letting AI enrich the user experience and really allowing users to get actionable insights.

We are working on launching various AI agents, each of them designed for a very specific purpose. These agents work together and form a swarm, empowering a community with insights and data through the power of AI. You may have noticed that we’ve been publishing articles and social media posts about AI quite a lot recently, which is our way to position DappRadar as a thought-leader on the intersection of AI and Web3.

When it comes to marketing efforts, we’ve also launched the Winter AI Dapp Festival. Again, an effort to educate people about the intersection of decentralized applications and artificial intelligence. Together with various industry partners, the Winter AI Dapp Festival attracted thousands of users. It allowed our partners to attract new users and grow their community, while every user was also introduced to Boosting.

The efforts through the Winter AI Dapp Festival has brought lots of eyeballs to our boosting feature. Many earned Boosting Power through our Quests, and applied the BP to their favorite dapps. This is something various projects really appreciate, as they understand the value of these community-driven voting mechanisms.

Integrations

This February we welcomed 4 new blockchain ecosystems to the World’s Dapp Store.

  • Waves - after a hiatus of a few years, Waves made a comeback.
  • Units - the Waves scaling solution is now also on DappRadar
  • G7 Network - a gaming focused blockchain ecosystem
  • Stellar - the decentralized payments network

DappRadar DAO and RADAR

In February we had a vote for DCP-31, to move liquidity from SushiSwap V2 towards the much newer V4. With a quorum of 203%, the vote passed. For the next 3 months SushiSwap V2 will have a 50% reduction in rewards with a total of 60,445 RADAR per day. During that time, the team will work on launching a ETH-RADAR pool on Uniswap V4.

Uniswap V4 is groundbreaking in the DeFi space, and this could very well bring exciting new possibilities to the RADAR token. We all know RADAR is fundamental to the success of the World’s Dapp Store. As we attract more users, exposure to RADAR will increase. The more users start using decentralized applications, the more demand there will be for a dapp store.

As a PRO member, you’re really at the forefront.

PRO membership update

On March 1st, we had a total of 998 PRO members in the DappRadar community. That means we only gained 3 new PRO members in February. It’s still a very minimal increase from the first month of the year, but this has also become a bit of an issue. In 2025 we’ve gained only 7 PRO members so far, in two months. Last year our weakest month saw an increase of 14 PRO members. Renewed focus and more communication need to put the PRO membership top of mind again.

DappLaunch

With ChainGPT we’ve welcomed a new partner for DappLaunch. Every project that enters the DappLaunch program may launch a token through ChainGPT. In turn, this will benefit PRO members, because they have the ability to purchase IDO tokens at a reduced price, before anybody else.

DappLaunch aggregates opportunities and services from its partners, making it an absolute premium initiative for any project looking to have an edge over their competition. Projects accepted into DappLaunch can get support to acquire funding, improve user acquisition through gamification, premium advertising opportunities, utilize industry-leading Web3 services, and receive the marketing amplification required to build a strong community of passionate users.

Closing words

As the world braces for whatever 2025 throws at us—be it World War 3, trade wars, or more Trump chaos—the DappRadar DAO keeps moving forward. Our Narrative Pages are live, AI is leveling up the platform, and the RADAR token’s getting a boost with Uniswap V4 on the horizon. The Winter AI Dapp Festival brought in thousands, our new blockchain integrations like Waves and Stellar are expanding the World’s Dapp Store, and DappLaunch with ChainGPT is giving projects and PRO members a serious edge. Yeah, the future’s a mess, but we’re here for it—building, adapting, and growing. Stick with us; we’re just getting started.

Leaves me woundering what are people in crypto for?
like we offered them everything.
Staking, exculsive quests, Pro airdrops, exculsive data. (and im properly missing out some bits as well) we got seasons.
(what more they want all i keep hearing is listings but that aient a good thing in my eyes)

Je viens d’arriver sur DappRadar PRO mais c’est vrai qu’il y a un manque de publicité commercial cela justifie le peux de membres je suppose, je suis tombé dessus en faisant des recherches de potentiel tokens qui peuvent bump mais même une fois avoir stacker mes 30000 RADAR difficile de savoir pas où commencer sur l’application et d’en découdre un potentiel réel.

Je hold et fait les quests pour monter en niveau mais ensuite ?

DappRadar was always about exploring data and dapps in our industry, and being a PRO helps to scale that. Just by looking at the leader board this season thousands are doing the quests, In my opinion at the start of every new season all pro members start out at level 10 or 15
Should make the seasons more favorable for the PRO membership, something that will encourage others to get PRO,
Not a “i want this”
Has to be " I need this"
There will be less advantage, a little unfair at the beginning for non PRO’s but it’ll balance itself out.
