June is behind us, and with that the first half of 2024 has come to an end. We integrated various chains, launched new products and created more value for PRO members.
Sure, crypto has taken a hit, and the sell off of Mt.Gox bitcoins may very well push the price down even further. However, it’s also worth noting that adoption is happening. Did you know that Sony is looking into launching a crypto exchange service? Telegram could potentially onboard millions into Web3? All while companies like Deutsche Telekom become involved in various decentralized networks as validators or nodes.
Adoption is happening. We can even see this in the numbers of active wallets utilizing dapps. On an average month 2.8 million wallets interact with gaming dapps right now. In addition, SocialFi, collectibles, and DeFi each register over 2 million active wallets per month.
Developments in the blockchain industry make us excited about the future. Let’s build the World’s Dapp Store together so we can guide enthusiasts and beginners alike, introducing them to the wonderful world of decentralized applications.

General
In June we have introduced three new products:
Airdrop Explorer
We have stepped away from our old airdrop program in favor of our own Quests platform. This Quests platform performs a lot better when it comes to user engagement, and brings higher quality users to projects looking to find an audience. However, with the Airdrops page we had a strong performing URL, and we had to capitalize on that. That’s why we launched the Airdrops Explorer, a series of step-by-step guides to help you farm for airdrops. These guides aren’t guarantees, but can help you to manage your farming habits. Some of these guides are exclusive to PRO members.

DappLaunch
Even though DappLaunch isn’t a consumer oriented product, it does have an impact on the entire RADAR community. DappLaunch is a platform with various partners, where a selection committee will cherry pick the best Web3 projects. Based on the choices of the selection committee, partners in the DappLaunch project will support builders and their projects with their go-to-market strategy. Every selection committee partner needs to lock 10 million RADAR, while PRO members could benefit from the DappLaunch program with early access to token sales, beta tests etc. If you know any projects that could benefit from a DappRadar co-signed boost, then send them the announcement and make sure to recommend them to apply.

Quests multiplier
The third and final product update we want to highlight is the Quest multiplier. Until now, anybody using DappRadar could do so for free. Even the PRO membership, where users stake 30,000 RADAR, earns these members new rewards. The membership pays for itself. With the Quest multiplier, the DappRadar platform introduced a B2C service. When users complete a Quest, they can multiply their winning chances by purchasing a multiplier for $1 or less. This could potentially become a revenue stream, while we are still testing the performance of this new service.

Blockchain integrations
The DappRadar platform is the most comprehensive overview of the Web3 market, allowing users to discover dapps across 60+ blockchains. In June we welcomed two new ecosystem to the World’s Dapp Store, bringing the total number of integrated blockchains to 64.
ICP, the Internet Computer Protocol, has been integrated in collaboration with Dfinity. In addition, we welcomed opBNB, the optimistic Layer-2 scaling solution for BNB Smart Chain. Dapps built on opBNB and ICP can now be found through the Rankings, while each of them has their own project page on DappRadar.
Marketing and reports
In this section we will look at all the reports, quests and other marketing activities we have done in June.
Reports
As always, our blockchain researcher @saragher22 has produced some wonderful reports. In June we published three in total:
- Azuro Ecosystem Report, an in-depth look into the infrastructure powering blockchain gambling.
- Dapp Industry Report, an industry overview of the Web3 market in May 2024
- BGA Games Report, a deepdive into blockchain gaming, together with the BGA.
Quests
In June we launched a total of 12 new Quests thanks to the efforts from @Kornelija, each of those quests tapping into our gamification platform. These quests have attracted almost 20,000 unique participants. We are just getting started with Quests, and this week we integrated Base into the system. This means that developers can now tap into blockchain data on Base when building a quest, or simply distribute rewards on Base.
Community platforms
DappRadar has a Discord community and a Telegram channel, managed by @Alex-Mammoth. While the activity on Telegram has been stable for the past 6 months, the community is a lot more active on Discord. In June we recorded a record high of 4,687 messages in our Discord channel.
Media mentions
When it comes to PR, we had a strong month. We have applied some filters to ignore the spam coming from Medium.com, resulting in 9.510 media mentions in June alone. Keep in mind, there’s still some spam there. However, month-over-month this would mean a 246% increase in media mentions, which is not a small feat. With an additional 38 media mentions by top industry media from the US and UK, June had a solid performance in terms of media mentions.
With the announcement of DappLaunch, we sent out our own press release with the help of @LunarStrategy. They managed to get our press release published on for example MarketWatch and Decrypt. They also published their report for June, which I highly recommend to check out.

DappRadar DAO & RADAR
The month of June came with various initiatives that benefited RADAR token holders and PRO members in particular.
- Kyoto Protocol did an airdrop for PRO members, which will be distributed on 26 July. The Quest for this airdrop has already closed.
- With a last minute vote, proposal DCP-25 has been accepted. This means that we’ve got a new DAO to DAO partnership, where tokens will be exchanged and benefits come to PRO users. Mighty Labs and their Trailblaze platform will come with IDO benefits and RADAR utilities.
When it comes to our PRO members, we welcomed 41 new PRO members to our community. On 1 July 2024, there were a total of 839 PRO members.
While growth slows down, growth is still happening. This tells us that our PRO community is happy with what we provide. However, the speed of growth also suggests that we need to community better about our PRO memberships.
Campaigns
RADAR token holders would receive a multiplier for the airdrop by Space Mavericks. These are the types of benefits for token holders we’d love to explore more often.
Closing words
Don’t think we’re all having a summer break here. In the coming weeks and months we will integrate many more blockchains, we will grow DappLaunch, and introduce new ways to use RADAR in the Web3 ecosystem.
